Facebook Advertising is one of the fastest and most cost effective ways to generate leads. However, if you are looking to save some money (or just want to supplement your ads with some free traffic), posting a call to action on your social media profiles is a great way to get a little extra free traffic. One of your first posts should be something to the effect of "Hey, I just got this cool new tool that will send you an instant home value report. Would you mind testing it out and letting me know what you think?" (and then include a link to your site). 

Where can you post? Just about anywhere. Ok, so we aren't hip and cool, so these were the ones we could come up with off the top of our heads: 

  • Facebook (including your personal profile and your business page)
  • Twitter
  • LinkedIn
  • Google Plus
  • Instagram (photos work great for calls to action)
  • SnapChat
  • Consider other platforms too, such as a Yelp business page. 

Bottom line is if you are active on a platform, post your link there. But here is the key: DO NOT SPAM. That’s only good with eggs (and mac and cheese... ok, now I'm hungry). But an occasional post, offering your services or asking for feedback, works well.
